Welcome to The Ivy House @ Tonbridge
Originally a toll house back in the 16th century, The Ivy House is one of the oldest buildings in Tonbridge with all the character you would expect of an old fashioned Kentish Inn, oak beams, an open log fire and beautiful decor bring out hundreds of years of history.
Your favourite pub & restaurant all rolled into one, Owner Dan Ward and his experienced team of chefs and waiting brigade have taken the pub to the top of the Tonbridge dining & social scene.
Whether you are looking for a romantic meal, special occasion, quick lunch or a catch up with friends over a drink The Ivy House is the premier venue in the area.
We offer a well thought out, tasty a la carte menu of which all our food is prepared on site by our team of highly trained chefs using local fish, meat, game, fruit & vegetable suppliers.
The menu changes weekly along with daily specials, but we hold on to our most popular dishes such as our famous "doner kebab" & prawn & chorizo risotto starters, and our main dishes of slow braised pork belly & Goan fish curry.
Wine lovers & real ale drinkers will not be dissapointed either with our extensive wine list made up of French, Italian & New world varieties.
We also serve the areas favourite pint of Harvey's best which is carefully looked after by our cellar man Dave who has 40 years experience of tending casks, other bitters are available.
We look forward to seeing you!
